Konoha Nation (Leaf ANBU District)

Kizu easily blocked the projectiles with the iron fan and continued falling toward Otoku. She brought the fan up behind her and swung it down like a club on Otoku with a grunt. She then quickly retreated to a safe distance, but not before placing a paper bomb on the ground beside Otoku. His Eikyuugan has gotten much faster as well as his reflexes. It's his greatest strength at the moment, I only wish I could find a way to fool it. she thought, collecting herself and entering a battle stance again. Something clicked in her mind at that point and she grinned. That might work...

Otoku side steped the blow and then back flipped away. He cracked his neck and said,

"This may give me a little work out. Kizu's gotten much better then the last time I've seen her fight. I wonder how much better she's gotten?"

Otoku then squanted down into a ready position. He wanted to see what Kizu would do next.

Ok, here it goes. It's gonna kill my chakra, but maybe it'll be enough to impress him. Kizu thought and took the chance to put her plan into effect. Daikamaitachi! She swung the fan again and sent another wind raging toward Otoku. It spilt ten feet from him and surrounded him quickly. A cylinder vortex circled him at a radius of about 8 feet and sped to dangerous levels. The wind would be enough to dismember Otoku if given the chance. Kizu supplied the vortex with another gust and added as must chakra as she could manage. She knew the dense wind would be like a curtain drawn over Otoku's Eikyuugan. I feel like I've tried this on him before. I can't remember how it turned out though. And I'm sure it wasn't on this level. Kizu thought, recalling a bit of training they had done years ago.

Once the vortex was maintained Kizu also formed a clone which she supplied with enough chakra to hopefully fool Otoku with as her chakra was now much lower than usual and the clone had much more that normal. It circled the cylinder at a fast pace to add more to the effect. Kizu wasn't taking ANY chances. Once the time was right, she put her fan upon her back and gathered all her kunai from her equipment pouch which she was sure not to use earlier. She flipped high above the vortex and seemed to simply drop the weapons while muttering Soushuuha (Manipulate Advancing Blades). The weapons levitated as if suspended by wires. Kizu landed on a nearby tree and waved her hands, sending the kunai down like a guillotine blade at Otoku inside.

As Kizu waited with bated breath she though over her actions. The wind will keep him from dodging easily as well as help hide that that clone, which I packed with all that chakra, isn't me. Hopefully he won't be able to react fast enough to my attack from above and be focusing on the clone, thinking it is me. He has no where to go but into my wind barrier. I'm sure with his abilities it'll be fine though. I know he can handle things much tougher than this. The only problem is whether he'll insist on continuing the fight after this. I won't be able to be as generous with my chakra use. I've proved you can fight Eikuugan, but it is in no way easy. I'll have to find another way to fight him if we ever spar again...

She then released the vortex, knowing it had been long enough and she needed not use any more energy.

Backlash appeared next to Ichitoru he was very late so he let himself in very quietly. He sat there and watched as the next spar began. "Kizu vs otoku...hmm this should be fun" backlash looked over at Udemae and Kuroh because they had a familar scent.

Otoku inside the vortex tried to sense what was going on outside it. He smiled and said,

"Very impressive stratery, very impressive. You are the most impressive canidate so far." He couldn't sense clearly what was happening around him but he sensed Kizu running around him. He make hand signs. As he made the hand signs the vortex died down and otoku ws truck by the incoming kunia, as he was struck, he turned into mud, and melting away. another Otoku appeared and attacked the Kizu there but, it simply dissapeared reliving a clone. The otoku then appeared behide her, and said,

"Very good, but it looks like you just about out of gas."

Kuroh watched what was happening. He was amazed that Kizu was able to do all of that.

"Wow shes pretty strong." He said to himself. He then caught onto a familiar smell. He started to sniff the air. "I smell Kenji." He said to Udamae. He then looked around. "But he's know where near." His nose was good enough to catch a scent even if someone was just standing near something.

Ichitoru looked up at Backlash, as he was still knelt over petting Raiyou. He stood up as he looked at Backlash and began to speak.

"Hey what's up. I didn't know you signed up for this too. WHat have you been doin' lately?" He said, as he hasn't seen most of the group lately since they all have been on individual missions nonstop.

Kizu watched, seeing he escaped as expected. She jumped, hearing Otoku behind her. She jumped forward and spun, landing back in the clearing away from Otoku. Yes, but I still have enough to fight a bit more. she said and pulled her fan from her back and down while opening it, throwing another blast of slicing air at Otoku. And now you're surrounded by weapons for me to use. Daikamaitachi! she said, meaning the forest edge. She knew attacking Otoku directly again would be pointless, so she directed the blast at the tree's surrounding him. They would be sliced up horribly and Otoku may be caught in all the debris falling. Kizu watched and took a knee, hoping to catch her breath and clear her thoughts before Otoku advanced again.

Kuroh turned and looked at Backlash. He then began to walk towards him.

"So you know Kenji. Are you the one he's been hanging out with? And whos Sendo?" Kuroh was curious about what was going on with Kenji.

Ichitoru chuckled a little as he listenned to Backlash.

"You don't give it a day's rest, do you?" He said with sarcasm. "Me? Boring missions...escorts...deliveries...all bunch of stuff...and is Kenji that one kid you've been hangin' out with lately?"

Udemae sighed as she heard about Kenji.

"He's always in a fight, isn't he?" She said, knowing Kenji's way all too well.

Kuroh sighed. "Someday that boys gonna get himself killed. Always rushing to fight someone without even thinking. Well what can we do." He said shrugging his shoulders.

He then turned and face the battle that was going on.

Udemae only nodded with her eyes closed in response as she then looked up at everyone who was crowding. She hated being the youngest and shortest in these kind of situations, but she knew she had to deal with it.

Ichitoru sighed as he stretched a little.

"Well, I hope this battle ends soon so I can have my turn. I've been waiting and I'm real anxious for my turn." He said, as he was telling the truth. "Backlash, do you think we could sneak off for a bit to FINALLY have our match?" He said, too anxious for a battle to wait.

Kuroh heard what Ichitoru was asking Backlash. He didn't want to say anything but felt the need to. He turned to Ichitoru and Backlash.

"Do you think thats a smart idea. This guy is really stricter then I heard he was. And if you two know him well don't you think he would find it disrespectful if you leave. Plus he is already late to begin with." He said pointing to Backlash.

The Otoku stanging there was hit and was sent flyig into a nearby tree. The debrie hit and sent him flying into the ground. The Otoku laying there, melted into mud before her eyes. The real otoku appeared frm under neath Kizu and grabed her legs. he then started to pull her into the ground saying,

"I gotcha!"

Kizu was slightly confused at beating Otoku in such a way. She then released the thought in pride and grinned widely just before felling Otoku's arm reach up and his voice. Urk!-- Ooofa... was all she managed to say awkwardly being drawn down into the dirt. She sat there buried up to her neck with her fan lying on the ground next to her. She couldn't help but giggle a little, even with such a small area to breathe. I should've been expecting it. Ok. You win, fair and square... she said. She had enjoyed the fight very much and wondered how well she did in Otoku's eyes. She just then realized how much she valued his recognition.

Otoku pulled Kizu out of the ground. As he pulled her out he smiled and said,

"Very good Kizu. You were the most impressive of the group so far." As Otoku pulled her out he looked into her eyes and whispered so that no one else could hear,

"I'm proud of you Kizu. You've come along way. I excepted nothing less for you." Otoku then put her down. with a smile.

Thank you, this means a lot to me Otoku, though I would've fought a lot differently had I actually wanted to kill you, as I'm sure you would too. Kizu said also in the low voice, wishing they weren't in public. She simply smiled and returned to the group after Otoku had spoke, smiling at Backlash as she passed. She sat down off the side to watch the next match and tend to her injuries when she noticed she had none. That's right, I managed to avoid all his attacks. He was busy avoiding mine most of the time, which is as expected since he only needed to study my abilities. she instead just brushed a bit of dirt off her from being buried and straightened her hair. She then took her tessen and cleaned it off with a scrap of cloth, taking care of a few scratches it had collected during the battle while waiting for the next match.

Otoku looked at Backlash and sighed. He then smiled and said,

"Yes to all of your question backlash. And for coming late you only get 3 mins to show me what you can do. Remember, that this fight today along with tommorows fight, will decide weather or not you belong here."

Otoku stood there and waited for Backlash to attack.

"Damn it..." Ichitoru said under his breath. "I wanted to go next...Oh well. I guess I have to wait now..." He said, as he closed his eyes and leaned his head back.

He wanted this time to be his turn, after viewing a couple of other matches. Both him and Raiyou were anxious like always to fight.
