Jason Wythal leaned back in his chair and took a long drag on his drink. He was at the most popular bar where citizens and zoid pilots usually came to relax and watch zoid battles. He was looking for a client as usual, but no one seemed to know him. I need to get in a few more battles to show off my true power. I haven't yet displayed my full potential, then people will beg me to join their team. he thought and grinned. He leaned forward and emptied his glass. He turned in his seat to look up at a large screen hanging on the wall. A battle was going on featuring a few Rev Raptors, a Dibison and two hell cats. Hmm... this might be interesting. My bets on the Dibision's team. Him and those Hellcats make a good match up. Two close range stealth zoids and the longer range Dibision to draw the Raptors' attention. he thought. As he expected the battle was soon over at the loss of the Rev Raptor's team.

"Sounds like you know your stuff," said Davis

He rolled around his chair and took a sip of his drink. He smiled and looked at the guy who seemed to be a mercenary. He through his zoid combat card in front of him and grined.

"The name is Davis Storm. I need so,me compeition you might be it," said Davis

Cloud entered the bar and say the two men talking. He walked over and said,

"So what's this? Davis Storm, are you picking fights again? You're alway up for a ahallage aren't you?" Cloud turned towards Jason and said,

'The names Cloud Strife, I;m the leader of Team Strife, well actually I'm the only member of team strife at the moment. And think I've seen you before. DOn't you polit a shadow fox. That's an extremely rare zoid."

Cloud smiled at the two and sat down.

Jason turned back to see the stranger. As first he hoped he'd be a client asking him for hire, but perhaps the visitor would interest him some how else. Jason said nothing and looked down at the card. He spun it to face him with a finger and looked over it quickly. Still looking down at the card and reading for info about Davis, Jason spoke. I'm Jason Wythal. I'm a mercenary currently looking for a job. I can't say I'm too interested in a battle at this point but... he said, but stopped at seeing that Davis used the Liger 0. Hmm... You use a very rare zoid. How'd you come across something like that? he asked, changing the subject.

He then look up to the other warrior. Oh, you two know each other? *chuckle* And no, I don't use a shadow fox. Though my Vulpen is rather similar. My name is Jason Wythal. he said, using his zoid's nickname.

"Cloud shut up. Jason how about this you two vs my team a little personal ranking match. It will be judged by the officals, but won't affect the team ranks. Winner gets a supply of 3 shotd from the loser's stock," said Davis

He ignored the question about the Ligar on purpose and smiled. Hesipped his drink and slammed the drink on teh table.

"See you in the forest battle area," said Davis

He left and walked out the area. He bored his hover cyle and went to meet his team.

CLoud sighed and said,

"He is always so quick to pick a fight. Being to hot headed isn't good for piloting." CLoud turned towards Jason and said,

"So your a mercenary right? Well I'm looking for some team mates. SO what's your price. I'll see if I can pay it."

Jason leans back and closes his eyes, pondering his cost. 5,000 credits per battle. 10,000 now as a starting cost. he replies opening one eye to Cloud.

[that's actually pretty generous. Epsecially for some one as good as him.]

CLoud straches his head and says,

"That's actually less then I espected. That cheep old men may not like it, but he'll have to deal. Well As of right now you hired. Welcome to team Strife, Jason,But of corse since this fight agianst Davis is really offical. It won't really count. SO how about I'll only pay you 1000, for exabition battles like this, and the normal 5000 for offical battles. Remeber that as long as your on this team you will have your zoid tuned up, repaired, and upgraded when we get new parts in for free. That comes with being on the team. I personally well be fine tuning the Zoids. It's one of my favorite hobbies. Also there free logging in the the carrier , the rooms are nicer then some hotels. So do we have a deal?"

Cloud stuck out his hand in order to seal the deal.

Jason thinks is over and grins. Ok, sound's good. Atleast until a more profitable client comes by. And I appreciate the repairs and aamo, but me an Vulpen have been through alot, I've tuned him up to his full potential. Me and him couldn't be better matched for each other. Jason says and takes Could's hand. He then stands and heads out of the bar. I'll bring him out to the battle field and give you a show of what I really mean... he calls over his shoulder.

Cloud smiles and says as Jason walks out.

"Well I guess I'll have to show what a BLade liger can do." CLoud walked out of the bar. He took out his cell phine and said a couple of words. Just then a large ship came down. CLoud smiled and said,

"Get My Zoid ready. Me and Davis are at it again."

At this point Kingu was downin back to back shots of vodka....
Man..... I need Companionship....

Laughing while speaking,

Laughing wildly,

Starts to sing,
ONE... is the loneliest number that you'll ever do... Two can be as bad as one , It's the loneliest number since the number one....
Bursts out laughing and throwing up

(sorry flame I'm posting. It's taking to long to get that fight over.So I'm acting like it's after the fight. I'm not saying anything about who won or didn't win)


CLoud came into the bar after the unoffical match with Team storm and saw the man throwing up. He walked over to him and said,

"Woah guy, You need control your drinking. What's wrong with you anyway?" CLoud looked and saw the man's combat card. He smiled and said,

"So your a Zoid pilot. And you pilot a Cerebrus. I've never heard of that zoid before, and it kind of surprises me, because I now everything about just about every zoid there is." Cloud strached his head and surprise and then said,

"SO do you have a team?" The mens zoids made him curious and happy. If even he never heard of the Ceberus zoid, then not to many other people would have either, that would give them an advantage in battle to keep the enemy guess as to what the zoid could do.

[The fight was official. All battles must be official. Unsanctioned fights are against the law.]

Kingu looks up smiling,
IS that an offer?
Getting excited wiping his mouth with a rag from his pocket,
Because I really would like to join a team...
Kingu stands up and salutes,
I am Kingu... pilot of the great Cerberus assassin for higher... I am READY!!

Cloud smile at him and said,

"There's no need to be so formal. My name is Cloud Strife, Pilot of the maginfacent Blade Liger. Im also the team leader and kind of co-owner of them Strife." Cloud pointed out to the huge carry vechicle and said,

'When ever your ready your free, to hop on board. It's even bigger then it looks on the inside, and the accomadations are better then some of the best hotels." Cloud strached his head and said,

"Also, one of the best mechanics that you'll ever meet. So just let me know if you want me to modify, or upgrade some parts for you. Since your on the team it well be free for you. I also take care of all the maintance of the zoids, and parts orders......It's a hobby of mine. See you later" Cloud smiled and walked ot towards the carrier.

Kingu Quickly follows him to the carrier,
You won't be dissapointed...
Kingu starts laughing,

As he makes his way to the carrier,
O YEA!!!

Kiko went in and sat down at the bar and got a drink without the guy even asking his name.

maybe i look 21 or maybe all zoid pilots get drinks he thought to himself but i didn't become a pilot for this and i'm getting bored already

Cloud heard Kingu's response and said,

"So by your reaction, I take it that you like it here. Followe me I'll show you around." He began to walk through the huge carrier. He then starts to say,

"Ok the boss man is on the top floor, which is the 7th. The elevator's over there. If you want parts ordered, ask me, not him, because even though he's loaded, he's still kinda of cheap. But I can usually get him to bend." He continued walking and said,

"The hanger is the at the basement level. That where we store all the zoids, and luach out for battle. I'll be down there most of the. So if your want to find me, that should be the first place for you to look." He walks into the elevator and goes to the 3 floor. He then goes to a room amd says,

"This is were you'll be staying." He opened up the door to realize a lagre room with a nice bed with a shower dresser a nice tv, and restroom. He then said,

"It's pretty nice right? It looks expense and it's yours as long as you keep winning." He then closed the door and said,

"Down the hall is the dinning area. My room is on the 5 floor with the simulator. And your other team, at least for te time being, Jason, He room is on the 4th floor, that's also where the gym is. The higher the floor the nicer the rooms are. The whole 7th floor is the boss man's room, and his office. It's huge. The better you are and the more matches you win , you get to go to the higher floors. Their are at least, 4 rooms on each floor. I have a feeling that if jason stays with for a little while he'll be on the 5th floor with me after a couple of matches." CLoud then slaps his head and says,

"O hey, I forgot. I'm not suppose to assign you a room until I trued you out. I started on the 4th floor because of how well I did on the sim. Jason started on the 4th becasue he's already a high class fighter. So let's see were you stand.... You'll first pilot on the simuator by yourself and then well duel it out on the sim afterwards. After we put those together we'll see where you stand. Also the floor your on decides how much you get paid. Even though I don't get paid by the old man." He took him to the 5th floor and a said

"here's the simulator...... O and before I forget we have the team meetings on the 6th floor. In the team meeting room, I'm sure you can find it.When you start the simulator to use your zoid just but in it's battle code , and then you should be able to pilot your own vechicle. Set up the simulator, so that your praticing what your zoid is best at, and make sure it's on the highest level. You can start when eer you want."

Suddenly a young man walks in at the age of 16.

He stands at the bar and orders a sprite.

"Damn now I have to get teamates this is so frustrating."

Heeor sits down and thinks about how he will form a team with such bad teaming skills. Hes more of a lone fighter.

occ-He talks like heero yuy.

Kiko looked over at the boy who just came in.

"i Also need team mates... maybe we should be a team. My name is kiko.. and yours?"

Kiko holds up his drink nodding to the new comer

"My name is ZERO."

"Yes I need a team."

"You must be strong though I dont accept slackers."

"Sure I will be on your team."

"As long as we agree the team name is Team ZERO."

"No not because I'm a one man team just because."

ZERO stared at Kiko waiting for the answer.

occ-Sorry my char is just cocky. If your on my team you'll get used to it.

"Team zero is fine with me." Kiko finished his drink..
"by the way i pilot The FireFox, and i'm a mechanic, should we wait to find a third or go see if we can train or fight someone?"

"It would be smarter if we just wait for a third."


"Once then we can find out the capibilities of each others zoids."


"And for the record I pilot the Lightning Saix."

"One of the fastest land based zoids ever created."

"Its speed is umatched."

"Well at least it is now till I find someone fast enough."

"but yeah as I said lets wait for the third."

"If we dont find anybody in 10 minutes we'll go out on or own till we find such a person."
