Fire
It unleashes a blast of fire at a targeted enemy, and its upgrades increase the range and damage this spell does to an enemy.
Surprisingly, this spell can be used as more of a defensive type of magic. When preformed, a circle of fire rotates around Sora, scorching anything in its path. The greater this spell becomes, the larger the fire grows.

Blizzard
It is a veritable blast of ice that will freeze any enemy in its tracks. Upgrades increase the damage done and the range it can go from the tip of Sora's Keyblade.
In this spell, you can also expell a chunk of ice from the tip of his weapon. Each time you receive an upgraded version of this spell, the ice chunk will be larger and more powerful.

Thunder
To preform this move, user raises his keyblade and lets nature do the rest of the work. Lightning bolts reign down on Sora's area, wounding any monsters in their path. Cure restores health based on its upgrades and strength. Donald uses this spell to great effect, especially when Sora and Goofy are concentrating on physical attacks.

Gravity
Gravity is learned after Sora's trip to Halloweentown. It calls a sphere of darkness to flatten every enemy within its radius and bring it to the ground. It is extremely useful against flying enemies, and can also be used to bring down high-floating objects in areas such as Hollow Bastion.
Gravity - Gravira - Graviga
Aero
Aero is likened to a "reflect" or "protect" spell. It surrounds Sora with a wind barrier that absorbs some damage directed towards him. However, with upgrades, it becomes a powerful shield that can deflect even boss attacks and damage on contact.

Stop
Stop is learned after Sora battles the Parasite Cage against time itself, in Monstro. It immobilizes enemies in a certain radius around him to give him a chance to whack away without fear of reprisal. Upgrades increase the radius of effect.

Reflect
Simply put, reflect is an entirely defensive spell. When casting this spell, a circular barrier forms around you, protecting you from any oncoming attacks. At a greater level, reflect increases in duration and in size.
