This rp is based on the Anime called Busou Renkin. If you haven't seen it before, don't worry you should beable to catch on fast. Any way, this takes place in an alternate universe from the original show, In Japan. Everything is pretty normal other then the fact that the world is plagued with what is known as Homunculus. These creatures go around eating Humans to sustain their own life. In league with them are also other humans who wish to become Homunculus in the future, they are known as Homunculus Disciples And they have special marks on their bodies that will protect them from being eaten by other Homunculus. There is also an even greater threat lurking among the Homunculus. These Homunculi goes around unnoticed by Humans until it’s too late. In order to keep the peace and order in the world, human’s fighters known as Alchemic Warriors are here to keep the peace. The Alchemic Warriors are governed by the generals of the Alchemic Regiment. While they are sending their warriors out to investigate and destroy these Homunculi, the Homunculi are planning something big, and are lead by a group known as L.X.E (League of eXtraordinary Elects)

Buso renkin are weapons formed by the alchemically-created Kakugane, based on the user's will to fight. The shape the buso renkin takes reflects the user's personality. Buso Renkin is the only weapons known to be able to kill a homunculus. Kakuganes are developed in the process of creating the Philosopher's stone, the ultimate goal of the Alchemy Warriors around the planet. Kakuganes will generate a weapon that reflects the user's battle style, a user will always have the same type of buso renkin regardless of the Kakugane number, though there will be cosmetic differences (note, this ocures when something about the person using the Kakugane changes or if they use multiple Kakugane in battle.) Buso renkin are activated by the fighting instinct of their user. This means that they can only be used by humans or human-type homunculi, since only humans have the instinct to use tools to defend themselves (animal- and plant-type homunculi's instincts have them fight with their bodies). Kakuganes, in their normal state, can also strengthen a user's healing abilities. In total, there are only 100 Kakuganes, from I (1) to C (100) (note, the first three of which were turned into Black Kakugane) After the Victor Incident, Kakuganes were scattered around the world; currently, there are 25 known Kakuganes that are used in Japan.


Black Kakugane (There will only be three users, and one of the users is the main bad guy, and there will be no Stage 3’s, They would be too easy to GM)


Black Kakugane I-III are the first results of the Alchemy Warriors. However, they were unstable, and upon insertion of Black Kakugane I (1) to replace his heart, Warrior Victor went berserk. A person who has been revived using a black kakugane is called a 'Victor,' since he was the first person to become such a being. Black Kakuganes give their users glowing light blue hair, red eyes, and tanned skin, (But in the anime, green glowing hair) with the ability to use 'Energy Drain, a 'vital body function' which absorbs people's life force; it's possible to kill a person by draining their energy. As it is a vital body function (like breathing) it is impossible to stop or shut it off. Black Kakugane users also have the ability to evolve. While in stage 1, a user can transform from normal human to his/her 'Victor' form. After 6 weeks, a user evolves into stage 2, when he/she is permanently transformed into a 'Victor' form, while in stage 3, the tanned skin turns into a dark red, and the power of energy drain greatly increases. Black Kakuganes have all the functions of a standard Kakugane. The user can also gather up corpses of creatures the user drained energy from and make a larger copy of himself. Buso renkin created by Black Kakuganes tend to be much stronger, since they make their users' bodies so much stronger.

The Appearance of a Victorized Warrior


White Kakugane


A White Kakugane is the exact opposite of a Black Kakugane, it holds the ability to nullify a Black Kakugane's power, restoring a person with a Black Kakugane to normal. A Black Kakugane user in stage 3 can only be restored to stage 2 via one White Kakugane, and so on. All White Kakuganes produced are not numbered. It is possible to have more than one White Kakugane in a person's body, as shown by Victor, who has two White Kakuganes in his body by the end of the story. White Kakugane only serves to nullify the effect of the Black Kakugane, they are not used for battle, and they take years of research, just to make the proper recipe for it. Even for a super genius, it takes several months to make one, using the notes and research, of previous scientist’s works.


Homunculus

A homunculus is created when an embryo-like creation from a plant, animal, or even a human is placed inside a human. The embryo then crushes the brain and takes control of the body, giving it abilities that mimic the natural talents of the embryo's origin.

Animal-type and Plant-type homunculi possess strength relative to their animal or plant base as well as retaining their sentience (they have the intelligence and reasoning of a human, but consider themselves to be an animal or plant). To activate their abilities, they have to 'transform', usually resulting in a large version of its base(an Eagle-type homunculus would become a giant eagle, for example). Often the homunculi's creator would have to brainwash them into following their creator with blind loyalty, though a few have been known to do so by their own choice.

Human-type homunculi do not change form, but merely gain the strength and regenerative powers of a homunculus while retaining their human form and mind, or at least a humanoid shape(As the embryo for a human homunculus almost always comes from the human him/herself). Human-type homunculi have one distinct advantage over Animal or Plant-types; they have the ability to use Buso Renkin(only humans can use Buso Renkins).

Most homuculi have the urge to eat other humans, but in episode 25 Papillon tells Victoria that eating humans doesn't whet his appetite. Victoria explains that homunculi eat humans because they desire to regain the aspects of humanity that they gave up. She then tells Papillon that because he no longer has any connection to humanity (or rather, that he no longer desires to be human), he has become something other than human or homunculus, but rather a "superhuman".

In terms of the Human type homunculus and superhuman (homunculus) they can still reach the lvl of a general, they’re power is not set in stone, this is just the average starting point, the same can be said for the Homunculus Disciples . Also you can always beat someone who is a rank above you, if you have some sort of advantage. Rankings don’t mean everything in this rp.

If you’re having trouble making up a Busou Renkin, you can use original ones from the show. The only banned weapons are Sliver Skin, Blaze of Glory, Buster Baron, and Fatal Attraction. Everything else is fair game.

There is only going to be 3 Black Kakagane Users, as of right now. The only one who well have they’re unlocked from the beginning is the head bad guy, who’s name will be Victor, He is the first to use a Black Kakugane user, and is at stage 2(he will not go to Stage 3 ever), he is also a NPC until much later on into the story where I will make a bio for him, but I will most likely will not be playing as him. 1 one of my char will be using a Black Kakugane(Kakugane III). Busou Renkin Description: The Imperial Slasher looks just like the sword that is in the picture. Its Special Abilities are as followed. The Imperial Slasher has more raw power then of any currently known Busou Renkin. Its physical raw power complements [b]Wakai[/b]’s already blinding speed. It has more abilities other then just brute strength. The Imperial Slasher can also drain energy from their opponent or other living things around him and take it for himself. This skill is the same as the Victor’s ‘Energy Drain’, only unlike the Victor’s he can control when to use it. He takes the energy and stores it into his blade; he then releases the energy that his sword has absorbed from his sword in an attack he calls, Imperial Destruction. If enough energy is gathered to perform this attack, he will be capable of completely leveling a city in a single blow. Because of his Busou Renkin and his skills, he is the Alchemic warrior’s trump card against an attack that could be mad by Victor. He is also the most talented and powerful Alchemic warrior in the Regiment.



Bio: Was born and raised in the way of the Alchemic Warriors. He’s father before him was one of the most powerful generals in history. He wished to follow and surpass his father, which he is still trying to accomplish. He trained in the way of the sword before even told about the possibility of him becoming an Alchemic Warrior. His skills with a blade where superb, he was able to slice through large boulder with relative ease by the age of 12. He joined the Alchemic warriors when he was 14 and began his way through the ranks until he reached Captain, on his 21 Birth day. When he was 27 his father who was the current, general, faced off and was killed by Victor I. But his father injured Victor enough to make him retreat and seek rest. After his father’s death his was quickly promoted to the rank of General. He is now training himself and his men, so that they will be ready for the nearing battle against Victor I. He is a very cocky and almost child like. He has a very youthful aura around him, but he is very wise and smart.

Busou Renkin Distription=The Vipers sting is a long slinder spear.Unlike most spears it is very fast.The blade to the spear is more like a sword blade than a regular spears blade.The Special Abilities of the vipers sting is to inflict posion on Rei's enemy.The posion is fatal most of the time depending on how much power Rei puts into the attack.The other ablility is it can come apart and form two smaller spears in case he is in a small area.

Bio: Rei's not sure where he was born.He dosn't rember anything before he turned 8.He became a Alchemic warrior in hopes of getting some answers to who he is.He attends normal high school when he's not on missions.He keeps to himself most of the time.He trains day and night to inprove his fighting ablitys.He dosn't care much for interaction with others.He if given the opition he would rather work alone so as to have no distractions while fighting.

Busou Renkin Distription-
All shoot a white sliver bullet that shines bright as soon as it hits the target, she has many different bullets that shine bright or make light turn to darkness. With her shot gun she shoots out with what looks like regular bullets but really they are sharp medal pointy beeds. With her Revolver she shoots out what looks to be golden bullets but really they are filled with poisins, she likes to have style with her guns. All are marked with a rose at the part where you hold it. her Rifle shoots out sliver bollets that are filled with Alice's home made Rose poisin. her hand gun and brownie both shoot out a clear bullet that has a clear liquid that also has a deadly poisin in it. at first the poisin numbs the body and leaves them for her to ask them questions but then after ten hours they die.

Bio:

Alice woke up in an alley with a mark above her head. She had a tattoo on her inner hip that has a mark of a rose. She was wearing an alice coat. Thinking that her name was Alice Rose she took the name, she started out as a regular civilain not knowing her past. Two years after that she staid on the streets she was picked up and forced to go to the military. She doesn't complain unless it's something that she dosen't like to do. to Alice's understandings all she knows is that people who are hurting the miltary are the bad people. She kills beacuse she feels like she has too. She wears an Alice coat on her back because she feels like if she doesn't wear it then she might not remeber anything. Alice follows orders, she has only broken the rules twice when she had been into the miltary. She loves to shoot her guns beacuse she is not very good at hand to hand combat or fighting with a sword. in fact she hates touching things that are sharp and pointy. She put the LX4 at the end of her name, because they found LX4 burnt into her shoulder. Alice lives on to try and find out what happened to her life before she woke up in an ally way. She quit the miltary because she did not want to kill her best friend. She fights on her own and saves those who she finds that needs to be saved.
