Making a Character
So your ready to start a Character right? Ok lets go over some basics in a Checklist
1. You got a name.
2. You have a general Idea of the looks of the Character, and how to describe it?
3. You have a good idea of the personality of your character, and his/her history.
Are you ready to start playing now? NO.
First go through this quick checklist:
1. Could a normal Genin do what my guy can?
2. If the name Uchiha or Hyuuga comes to mind while thinking about your character, remeber they have seen every possible clone or variation of Sharrigan and Byukgan dont rape the idea anymore please.
3. Remeber Shadow Clone Jutsu, is a forbidden jutsu. It was in the Scroll of Sealing, a scroll filled with Jutsu's never ment to be learned.
Did you make it through? Ok on to the next step.
The Write Up
Ok go back to the sign up thread. Copy the Character sheet that the GM, Flame15, has posted up in the "Sign up Section". Copy it into word/etc, and start writing your heart out. Remeber though, your character is not the focus of the Naruto world, please write it from a realistic point of view. You will have weaknesses, you wont be a genies that gets everything write on the first try, and you dont have a tailed beast sealed inside you.
(for note that those that have tailed beasts earned the right to play with them, in time you could be so lucky and get one, but not for your first guy!!)
Bloodlines and You
Ok now, does your character have a bloodline? It is not Hyuuga or Uchiha Clan right? Then post the general info about it here. Remeber your not on God mode here, please make your limit carefully. If your gunna make up a clan take the time to come up with a history, customs, job that your clan fills in the village, size of the clan and etc. This is alot of work and can be hard to get a good one put together. Personally I suggest alot of research, thought, and rough drafts that you read through before posting. Usually best to skip this for your first Character.
If you made one up though, post it Here and get it approved.
Ranking
Ok before you only had one choice now you have two!
1. Academy Student (I highly recommend this!)
2. Genin (Tough but still fun to do right off the bat)
Academy Students, you play your character through the Academy your character, and yourself, will make plenty of friends and contacts here. It makes a very easy transition into the Genin missions and makes for better Character development. If you do this, remember most Academy students are drawing Chakra for the first time, learning to throw Kunai for the first time, and etc. etc. Your not even Genin level that means your realllllly weak.
Genin, you need to gather up 2 team mates and a teacher, of other players on KM, and complete missions. You RP your way through your Private life, social life, missions, training, and etc. Eventually you go to the Chuunin Exams and etc. Its here that the real missions and fights start. Its alot easier if you have people willing to team with you, I suggest the Academy.
So your ready to play
Ok time out slugger! Keep these simple rules in mind.
1. No God moding, your character will fail, he will get hurt, even naruto failed and he was the Main Character of the story. How many times did he fail? at everything? Take his example to heart, have your character play things out realisticly
2. 5 sentences minimum post. Your taking advice from a reformed 5 or less bandit here. Seriously do the Mods a favor and take some time for your posts. 5 sentences or more only, not up for negotiation. Trust me, dont go down this road.
3. Remeber this is an anime! Have fun, have a since of humor. Dont be Sasuke all the time, have some fun and try and copy that Naruto humore into your RP.
4. PG-13, remeber the kiddies are watching. Dont soil their virgin eyes.
The RPG has a few rulles regarding the sign up.

* Every NEW member starts out as Rank Genin or Academy student and character level is equal to the rank to.
* Jutsu's
like, Rasengan, Chidori, Kage Bunshin etc etc can't be learned from the
very start, their high level Jutsus that require allot of Chakra and
practise. So please keep that in mind before singing up.
* The
Uchiha Clan has been slaughterd, new members who make their char Uchiha
will not be accepted, the older members who had an Uchiha character
already can continue using them and there are some members who get to
create an Uchiha after being part of the RP for a long time and helping
out with several things but this is rare. There are a few members clan members outside of the played ones but those are NPC's.
* The
Hyuuga clan has had the same in the past, no more new members from the
Hyuuga clan. There are a few members clan members outside of the played
ones but those are NPC's.
* Before making up a Clan, check the
Clan thread to see if there is a similliar clan already, if so ask the
person who made it if you can use it.
* Don't combine Clans other people made to give yourself a double Bloodline Limit.
* There is no such thing as the Uzumaki Clan as of yet nor is any of the traits known.
* You can't use attacks from another Clan if your not a Clan member of that clan.
* Also please don't try to make anymore Clans like Uchiha only with another name.
* You can only get your sign up approved by one of the following, Flame15,Rikimura, Nikamara,or Martzu.

General RPG rulles.
* First of all you can only decide actions for your own character unless premision is granted by the owner of the other character.
* Advancing in Rank is done by Exams.
* When
a year skip takes place you can increase your rank but keep it real.
For instance one can't go from Genin to Jounin in just one year.
* The
amount of time spend on aquiering a Jutsu depends completly on the type
of Jutsu, for instance Ura Renge requiers allot of training unlike a
regular Katon wich can be learned much quicker.
* Please write in third person, past tence and use a readable font (Preferably black).
* -This
thread is PG-13. That means you will be WARNED either by a mod or the
GMs of this rp for writing explicit material. Failure to follow this
rule will result in dismissal from the rp.
* And remember, this rp is on AE. That means that while you post here, you MUST follow the rules of NM as well as the RPing rules
* Added: If you leave the RP for a long time your char will be weakened once you come back. This only apply's to long term absences.
* Added:
Seeming this is a RP and we aren't all Engish or American or have
dislextica. Therefor we're setting up a new rule, that you have to use
correct spelling, without those short cuts, little spelling mistakes
are allright, I won't complain about that, but u has to become you,
thru has to become trough and so on.
However speech is another case, it is okay to use slang or Japanese words when a character is speaking.
